RANGE - 70” of effective vertical lift and 72” of effective horizontal arc travel.

MAST – Fabricated box structure of 6” ship channel and 6” standard channel with 2” X 2” angle welded to each flange for strength and rigidity.

Vertical Lift – Powered by ½ HP AC gear motor with a screw driving system.  7 IPM lift speed.

Boom (Ram) – Fabricated from 4” X 2” X .188 wall mechanical tubing with 1 ½” X 1 ½” X ¼” angle way to insure proper alignment and strength. Manufactured with eccentric cam rollers to provide exact and easy adjustment for longitudinal welding as well as precise adjustment for wear and deflection of the boom and mast assemblies.

Boom Drive – Consists of a rack and gear drive, manual or powered by a ½ HP, DC electrical motor with SCR electronic drive.

Mast Rotation – Manual on 48” X 48” cart with v-groove wheels. Mounted on large diameter bearing plate with ball bearing base and sealed Timken bearing on shaft.

Turning roll should always be the same make & type with the same wheel diameter. Insure that installation is on a smooth hard, level, preferably steel floor. Do Not Anchor! Free floating gives best contact to working piece. Support load with min. Idlers- multiple units absorb power. Improper alignment absorbs power. Always use shortest center distance sitting between wheels that will safely handle the size & diameter.

Durango Linear Oscillator

 

 

 

 

The Durango Linear Oscillator provides a smooth and consistent weld bead from root pass through cap pass. This is the ideal tool for automating your circumferential, straight seam and multi-pass overlay welding. This tireless alternative to manual welding can easily double or triple your production rate, reduce welder fatigue and produce consistent quality welds. The standard oscillator has adjustable right/left dwell, adjustable speed potentiometer and adjustable weave width with approximately 25 pounds torch holder capacity.

Used in conjunction with the BEC Manipulators and with matching crossfeed slide assemblies, this oscillator can semi-automate your MIG, TIG, and Sub-Arc welding shop or department.

BEC OBS-3000

An indispensable companion and naturally compliments any job utilizing a welding Positioner. They are also used in pairs to do manual rollout work. The capacity the BEC OBS-3000 is 2” through 18” diameter pipe. Allowing most of the job requirements in a shop to be covered with this one general purpose stand.

 Has a weight capacity of 3000 pounds and an adjustable height range from 20 to 36”. Utilizing a 1 ½ Acme Adjustable screw provides strength, stability and smooth adjustments, even under load.

Can be ordered with steel wheels, rubber (various types and durometer), or polyurethane, depending on your application. All OBS-3000 wheels come equipped with sealed needle bearings to provide a long life under rugged conditions.

The BEC Model HDT-3 provides a simple and direct means of securing round loads to the BEC Pipe Rolls. This attachment provides stability and consistent slip free movement on eccentric loads.

The Hold Down Tool is the perfect companion for Power Rolls and Burnoff Table operations using BEC equipment.

All wheels on the BEC Hold Down Tools are equipped with sealed needle bearings for long life under rigorous conditions. Wheels are available in steel, rubber and polyurethane.

Burnoff Table 2 – 30” Capacity

The BEC Burnoff Table accommodates 2 through 30” pipe. It features variable speed rotation with hydraulic actuated roller lift. The table is coupled with a rack system for torch mount that is calibrated within .030 tolerance for square and consistent cuts on production runs as well as allowing the operator to make longitudinal cuts as well. Variable speed rotation produces exceptionally clean and smooth cuts on all sizes and wall thickness of pipe. The BEC Burnoff Table’s hydraulic-actuated roller system provides for ease of positioning for initial cuts as well as repositioning pipe for subsequent cuts. This feature also makes the burnoff table an excellent fitup table for pipe and rounds. It can also be used as a weldout table in place of power rolls
